I'm Fredrick N Knopp, a photographer based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Photography has been a lifelong passion that I pursued into formal training, earning a Diploma in Professional Photography along with Certificates in Landscape, Travel, and Tourism Photography. That education gave me a strong foundation in light, composition, and visual storytelling — skills I continue to refine every time I'm behind the lens.

Living in Northern Ontario, I'm surrounded by the subjects I love most. My work focuses on the wild beauty of this region — the rugged shorelines of Lake Superior, the forests and waterways of Algoma, and the vast, changing landscapes that define travel in the North.

Through my landscape and travel photography, I aim to capture more than just a scenic view. I want to capture a sense of place — the quiet, the scale, and the moments that make you want to be there.
